Exchange for Change offers writing courses in prisons and runs letter exchanges between incarcerated students and writers studying on the outside.

Released in collaboration with Disorder Press, Hear Us is a unique anthology of poetry, fiction, nonfiction and artwork from incarcerated writers, family members, and DOC staff, describing how the pandemic and George Floyd’s murder have impacted the authors’ lives. In vivid detail, the book shows how inequity and injustice are played out in the era of mass incarceration.
